LEADERS ENGAGED AND PREPARED (LEAP)

The LEAP Program is a collaboration between the Cook County Sheriff’s Office, Civic Leadership Foundation, and re-entry support service providers to enable the successful transition from incarceration to career readiness and engaged citizenship. Participants will engage in a 4-Phase curriculum of activities designed to develop key values of civic life: courage, compassion, humility, accountability, and resilience. The goals of the LEAP Program are to support the transition from jail to community life through employment, schooling, or training; staying out of the criminal justice system; and becoming civically engaged.
