Dr. Howard Rossman

Dr. Rossman is the Founder and President of the Civic Leadership Foundation, starting the organization to give young people the chance to learn and grow through civic engagement. With a background in psychology, organizational leadership, and entrepreneurship, he continues to guide the organization both operationally and in its critical fundraising efforts. Prior to founding CLF in 2008, Dr. Rossman served as Vice Chairman of Mesirow Financial Holdings Inc. and founded Mesirow Advanced Strategies, a leading global fund of hedge funds. With a passion for education and youth development, he has chaired and served on boards of several for-profit, non-profit, and educational organizations in addition to his work with CLF.. Dr. Rossman holds degrees from Princeton University, the University of Oregon and the California Institute of Integral Studies.
